Shivam Tripathi
Founder & Entrepreneur, Urban Akriti
Shivam Tripathi is an architect, entrepreneur, and humanist dedicated to creating meaningful change through design and education. A graduate in Architectural Studies from Mumbai University (2008), Shivam soon ventured into establishing his own enterprise, driven by a vision to blend creativity with purpose. His passion extends beyond architecture - he is deeply committed to building communities and promoting holistic education that empowers young minds to think, learn, and grow dynamically.

Through his pioneering initiative, the ACP (Admission Catalyzing Process) program, designed for schools, Shivam aims to nurture children during their most formative years. The program bridges the gap in today’s education system by introducing a hi-tech Gurukul model, merging the best of Eastern wisdom and Western innovation. Its focus lies in making learning proactive, experiential, and deeply engaging, thus preparing students to leverage their inherent strengths for the future.

Shivam’s visionary work has earned him international recognition, including a prestigious French publication feature in LE Courier De LA Architect, an honor he shared alongside architectural legends Sir Norman Foster and Sir B.V. Doshi. He has also served as a keynote speaker at Tech Fest Kurushetra, Annamalai University, and the School of Architecture & Planning, Chennai. His inspiring contributions have been widely covered by Zee Business, The Times of India, and several other leading platforms, highlighting his unwavering commitment to innovation, education, and societal development.

The Learning Environment Surrounding the Child
At Urban Akriti, we believe that the environment itself is the third teacher - shaping the child’s curiosity, creativity, and emotional well-being every single day. As a turnkey design and build firm, our vision goes beyond creating just one classroom or building; we design entire ecosystems of learning spaces - each thoughtfully crafted to nurture growth, exploration, and happiness.

Our intention is to design holistic and inspiring environments so engaging and vibrant that they naturally encourage a child to wake up every morning with excitement and say, “Mumma, give me milk, I want to go to school!” We aim to create spaces that children proudly call “my school - my space of learning.” In doing so, we also ensure that the visionary’s investment is utilized wisely, linking every stage of infrastructure development with realistic admission goals to achieve a balanced and sustainable growth model.​

To make this process structured and effective, we introduced the ACP - Admission Catalyzing Process. This unique approach allows schools to be built phase-wise, year after year, directly in proportion to the expected admission growth. Parents become partners in this journey - engaged through press conferences, seminars, meetings, surveys, home visits, and creative outreach programs - strengthening the bond between the institution and its community. Each phase of construction is guided by purpose and precision, ensuring that every space contributes meaningfully to both learning and admissions.
Our philosophy centers on creating intellectually rich, emotionally vibrant, and information-driven environments. Through intelligent spatial design and sensitive use of geometry, color, texture, and landscape, we enable what we call Non-Verbal Learning - the subconscious motivation children receive from their surroundings to engage, learn, and thrive.
